OUR MISSION

" Accelerate the shift from disposable to reusable by positively mobilizing organizations to transform uses with products with social and environmental benefits measured upstream through eco-design and manufactured locally ."

GOBI, A COMPANY WITH A MISSION

Since June 2023, Gobi has become a company with a mission to reconcile economic performance with a contribution to the general interest.

More than ever, we are convinced that organizations (companies, local authorities, associations) have a driving role to play in the ecological transition by mobilizing their communities.

WHY BECOME A COMPANY WITH A MISSION?

Since 2010, we've been working with a local ecosystem (industrial partners, eco-design consultants, a designer, solidarity workshops) to reduce waste in the workplace.

We started with hydration, offering water bottles designed for the office: the most customizable, the most elegant, the lightest and the largest capacity. To reduce lunchtime waste, we also invented the stainless steel cutlery kit and the Gobi lunch box.

These products are nothing if not easy to use by employees within the company; that's why we now offer an internal communication campaign and conferences for employees to complement our products.

For Gobi, contributing to the public interest has been at the heart of our operations since our creation. Including it in our articles of association seemed a logical step to support the company's growth.

4 OBJECTIVES GUIDE OUR STRATEGY

1- Reduce the amount of unnecessary single-use products made of plastic and other materials in the daily lives of a growing number of public and private organizations in France and Europe.

2- Achieve significant gains for the environment through preventive eco-design and multi-criteria impact measurement, as part of a continuous improvement process.

3- Systematically seek to create shared value (economic, social, local and inclusive).

4- Make our company an inspiring model and invest in our ecosystem to create synergies and accelerate global change.
